It’s a funny thing. Something that can totally change an event or situation, yet leave it exactly as it is. To see is to believe, but what do you believe about what you have just seen? In the end it doesn’t matter, it does not change the event, only how you view it. The facts remain the same, the interpretation is what changes. The same facts are used by scientists to prove evolution and disprove creation, and vice versa. In the end it comes down to how the facts are seen, what pair of glasses are you wearing? If you’re wearing your own fandangled pair that you created chances are you will have problems seeing clearly. Solution? Let a professional make your glasses :)

Perspective is something that can be difficult to grasp. For if your view is already out of wack you may not even notice that there is a problem. This is where another must come in as a mediator of your vision, and what you interpret from what you see. A tradgety can been seen as a tradgety, or as a chance to grow in strength and stature. A persons company may be seen as a pain, or a pleasure. A no may be seen as one door closing, or as another opening. So who can help you to really see? I’m glad you asked :)

No force on earth, not even strong friends in the faith, can fully contribute to the clarity of you vision. For even if they are “clearing” yours, who’s clearing there’s? Our perspect can and should always be through God’s looking glass, for it is the one that sees things for what they are, crystal clear.

I have seen the same events over in my head, both without and then with God’s divine wisdom, and you know the funny thing? Nothings changed. The events remain the same, yet my understanding is now clearer. At the time I believed one thing about what I saw, now another. This changes absolutely nothing concerning what happened, but it puts my heart back where it belongs, in line with God’s plans and desires for my life. This change of heart does not mean that my direction has or hasn’t changed, personally I don’t really know. I don’t really want or need to know. What I do know is that it is a whole lot easier to wait for God’s perspect on things rather than jump in with my own. So I will always check my vision with a pair of God binoculars, to see clearly and with more depth. That way I know that when I finally do act I am right with God, the thoughts of man of no consequence.

Good morning ;)

My future here
I’m done with fear
Though it has already robbed me of much

I stand here broken
The truth finally spoken
I’m left with nowhere to hide

Vulnerable I feel
This feels so surreal
So much so that to dream is no escape

But I feel no need to run
This fight has just begun
And I plan to see it through till the end

A long road lies ahead
Happy with how I’ve made my bed
I know I will not be coming back to rest for a while

This is fine with me
I can’t help but feel free
Though I thought I would be weighed down in chains

Bewildered that I feel no pain
And to me this seems insane
But while no pain, there is a regret

Action should have come quicker
The fog has now grown thicker
It’s become harder to make my way

But I know I’ll pull through
With God I always do
I just pray I did not wait too long

He says there’s still time
I’ll put it all on the line
And I just might get where I’m going someday

I long for a chance to act
To prove this declaration fact
For faith without action is death

I’ll fight till my dying breath
Until there’s nothing left
And hopefully that will be enough

She is worth the wait
and no-one can deny
She is extremely beautiful
From her toes up to her eyes

Her eyes I could get lost in them
Deep as the ocean, blue
I would swim in them forever
if I could, wouldn’t you?

I could go on about her beauty
but this I could do with ease
I would rather talk of her heart
so hear me out for a minute please

Her heart right now belongs to God
as I hoped it would
She is gentle spirited and kind
working towards the greater good

She is so very talented
I’m often left amazed
Yet she also has humility
and by adversity never fazed

When ever I happen to see her
I cannot help but grin
When I think about her pure heart
the heart I hope to win

The thing that amazes me the most
something I’ve questioned from the start
Why has God entrusted to me
such a pure and righteous heart?

I do not feel as if I’ve earned it
although I guess that is the catch
As her heart as yet I do not own
actions to my words I must match

For without God I know for sure
that she could never be mine
So I put my faith in Him to guide me
it is only a matter of time…

I’ve been waiting here in silence
but now it is finally time
I put my faith to action
and wait for her choice, I’ve made mine

I will wait for her… and I pray that she will wait for me… She is worth the wait

Deuteronomy 9:1-6 (NIV)

Hear, Israel: You are now about to cross the Jordan to go in and dispossess nations greater and stronger than you, with large cities that have walls up to the sky. The people are strong and tall—Anakites! You know about them and have heard it said: “Who can stand up against the Anakites?” But be assured today that the LORD your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the LORD has promised you. After the LORD your God has driven them out before you, do not say to yourself, “The LORD has brought me here to take possession of this land because of my righteousness.” No, it is on account of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is going to drive them out before you. It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the LORD your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.

How awesome is it that God does not bestow gifts upon us based on our own righteousness, or we would never get anything. He bestows His gifts upon us because he loves us unconditionally and wants the best for our lives. But He can only do this when we accept Jesus into our hearts so that HIS righteousness can be seen in us. How awesome is it also that the completion of God’s promises are not based on our righteousness either, but simply our willingness to submit to His authority and accept His promises for our lives :)

Make sure that you never reject a blessing from God because you don’t think you’ve earned it. Jesus’ blood washes you clean in God’s sight and makes you worthy of what ever gift God wishes to bestow upon your life :)

His love is pure, his love is grand
He’ll take you gently by the hand
To show you his plans for your life
An amazing job, a beautiful wife

His plan for you is lovingly set
Just follow it, you won’t regret
To follow it though you must have faith
The strength of patience, the strength to wait
And although the world will tell you lies
God conquers all, that’s no surprise

So take Him at his word, your faith requires action
Do not follow the world, for it is a fatal attraction

Now here’s the truly tricky part
Let God be the one to guard your heart
He will nurture and care for it
He is the one place your heart will fit
For the ultimate love there is only one place
And it can be found in his loving embrace
